What You Will Be Doing
• Engage with students daily to motivate and mentor—no lectures, just impactful coaching at a peer level
• Utilize adaptive learning technology and AI to tailor the learning experience to each student's pace
• Conduct small-group workshops on life skills, leadership, and strategies for real-world success
• Guide students in identifying their strengths and setting ambitious personal growth plans
• Contribute innovative ideas, data, and insights to continuously evolve Alpha’s learning model

What You Won’t Be Doing
• Giving scripted lectures, grading worksheets, or managing behavior in a conventional classroom
• Functioning as a tutor, babysitter, or homework assistant—this is not remedial support
• Working within a rigid system that limits initiative and creativity
• Overlooking technology—our approach integrates the best tools to enhance growth

Student Learning Coach Key Responsibilities
Foster a limitless mindset in students and drive exceptional growth by utilizing technology, mentorship, and your example of excellence.
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Proven track record of high achievement (e.g., top academic awards, D1/Olympic-level athletics, national competitions, etc.)
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, or instructing K–8 students
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Availability for in-person work in Miami, FL; New York City, NY; or San Francisco, CA

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
