OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING INTERNALLY!

Opening: Skilled Trades Recruiter

City: Anchorage, AK

Pay: Base + Uncapped Commission (average $80K+ annually, higher with experience)

We’re expanding our Anchorage team and looking for a Skilled Trades Recruiter to join us. This is a people-focused, sales-driven role where your work directly fuels Alaska’s industries and communities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Build relationships with business owners, foremen, and hiring managers in trades and industrial companies
• Source, interview, and place skilled candidates into contract-to-hire roles (carpenters, mechanics, laborers, welders, operators, and more)
• Manage client accounts while growing new business through calls, networking, and site visits
• Guide candidates through the entire hiring process, from application to onboarding
• Track placements and ensure client satisfaction to build repeat and referral business
• Maintain pipelines of qualified trades professionals ready to work

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, or customer service
• Confidence in making outbound calls and building strong client relationships
• Ability to connect with trades professionals and understand their needs
• Strong organization and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
• Drive, resilience, and passion for helping people find meaningful work
