Job Description

Role: Senior Business Solutions Analyst, CBAP (Ref: 5491)

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. 
• At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
• Preferred: At least one (1) year of experience supporting government IT procurement activities and complying with associated procurement regulations and policies, including procurement planning, writing scope of work, technical qualifications, and evaluation guides.
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis).
• A valid Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), reflecting advanced expertise in business analysis and a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives through data-driven decision-making. PMI-PBA, MSBA or equivalency or higher certification.
• At least two (2) years of experience with process analysis and mapping (ex. as-is and to-be) systems analysis.
• At least one (1) full cycle (completed stages 2-3 on one project) of experience supporting the requirements of the California Project Approval Lifecycle process including PAL Stages 2 and 3, ongoing support of a large and complex IT project with a duration of at least one (1) year with and a total project budget exceeding $5 million
• Candidates will be required to provide two (2) references which the contact person will be required to sign the reference forms. Attachment will be provided.
• Candidates will be required to provide degree and certification copies.
