Job Description

ABM/Avis is hiring drivers for rental car operations in Midtown Manhattan . Drivers will safely move various vehicles between rental lots and garages, inspect for damage, and maintain vehicle safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive vehicles of various sizes (sedans, SUVs, vans, pickups) between rental locations
• Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and maintenance concerns
• Report any incidents or vehicle issues to the Supervisor or Shift Lead
• Complete pre- and post-inspection checklists
• Operate in compliance with traffic safety and company procedures

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license
• No high school diploma or GED required
• No previous experience required
• Must have open availability for shifts, including weekends/holidays
• Must be able to pass an onsite drug test (administered during the event for those moving forward)
• Must be reliable, punctual , and able to follow verbal/written instructions
• Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact professionally with customers, staff, and the public
