Job Description

Position Summary:
The PAPM Tester will be responsible for validating financial planning and performance management processes, ensuring data integrity across systems, and executing SQL-based validations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in backend testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Validation & Testing
  • Perform backend table validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate integration between PAPM and related financial systems (e.g., SAP BPC, S/4HANA).
• Process Testing
  • Test end-to-end financial planning and performance management workflows, including allocation and calculation logic.
  • Validate data flow and transformation across multiple modules.
• Reporting Verification
  • Review and validate reports generated from PAPM for accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
• Defect Management
  • Document test results, log defects, and track resolution in test management tools.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in SQL for backend validation and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PAPM or similar financial planning tools.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and QA methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
