NYS Security Guard Licensed Exit Lane Monitor Location Rochester, NY :

Join VMD Corp, a leader in providing passenger and checked baggage screening services at various airports across the United States. VMD Corp has an immediate need for a Part-Time Exit Lane Monitor with an active NYS Security Guard License.

What you will do:

Grow in a fulfilling career as an Exit Lane Monitor working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while identifying and preventing unsafe objects from exiting the airport.

Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to:

• Secure Exit Lane doors so that no one enters the sterile area.
• Observe the immediate area for anyone or anything that might look suspicious and interact with all local airport authorities.

What you will need:

• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
• Have an active NYS Security Guard Licensing
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Ability to work a Part-Time Shift (10:30 AM to 6:30 PM) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday.
• Ability to work any shift including weekends and holidays (flexibility is key)
• Ability to pass SIDA Badge background check
• Ability to interact professionally with the public with a focus on customer service.

What we offer:

Competitive Compensation

• Hourly Wage: $14.25 per hour / 15.00 per hour effective January 2024
• Bonus: $100 starting bonus and $400 retention bonus after 180 days of employment
