Starting Salary: $21.9158/hour
Union: AFSCME 3738
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

In this role you will:

Audit, scan, and input data from reports and citations.
Collect, sort, separate, merge, and distribute all reports and citations.
Sort and file all reports by department file number and maintain the records section filing system.
Assist department members and the public in obtaining copies of reports and information.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to a high school diploma, including coursework in typing and general office procedures, along with two years of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must be able to pass a required background investigation, provide necessary information for the screening process, and sign a department-issued Confidentiality Statement. Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed is also required. Preference for employment in all positions with the city shall be given to applicants who are full-time city residents.
