Job Description

We have a 30 month Remote Business Analyst contract that may be extended by our client.

Minimum Qualifications

• 84 months experience working as a Business Analyst working with NYS agencies or other state municipal government entities to produce functional and non-functional specifications according to Project Management Industry standards and Secure System Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• 24 months of New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Experience or 24 months working directly with Transportation systems and process.
• 36 months experience with data migration and legacy system modernization projects including data warehousing, data repositories and enterprise data architecture.
• 36 months experience with Geospatial Information System (GIS). Gather requirements for various data components to generate comprehensive reports, map point-to-location data, and compile documentation on conditions within the geospatial information system framework.
• 36 months experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). Proven experience implementing and managing enterprise asset management systems.
• 60 months experience writing technical documentation, requirements specifications, and user guides. Must be able to translate complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions and work effectively across IT and business stakeholder groups.
• 60 months of written and verbal communication experience with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders. Skilled in requirements gathering, elicitation, and documentation using industry- standard formats.
• 36 months experience creating and maintaining data dictionaries.
• 36 months experience integrating APIs with existing systems and designing/implementing systems architectures.
