Job Title: Billing Representative
Location: Bronx, NY 10451 (Remote)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25/hr
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Representative to support daily medical billing operations in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance providers, and third-party payers. This role requires strong communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and submit claims to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and third-party payers.
Review billing information for accuracy and completeness prior to claim submission.
Perform payment posting and reconcile discrepancies.
Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve denials or rejections.
Communicate with payers, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with confidentiality standards.
Provide excellent customer service with clear written and verbal communication.
Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience .
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, third-party payers, and payment posting.
Knowledge of CPT codes is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.
High School Diploma or GED required.
